Todos Together Resource Center
The Todos Together Resource Center works to bring resources and access to the community. At the heart of the Resource Center is a commitment to sustainability, as we seek to reduce waste through conservation and ecological practices. All services at the Resource Center are meant to meet the educational, physical, health and social needs of the community. The Resource Center benefits children, families, teachers, homeschoolers, and the elderly and programs change as needs evolve. It is a place where community members have access to all of the resources that they need to live a more enriching, sustainable life.
El Centro de Recursos Todos Together trabaja para brindar recursos y acceso a la comunidad. Su filosofía se basa en el compromiso con la sostenibilidad, buscando reducir los residuos mediante prácticas de conservación y ecológicas. Todos los servicios del Centro están diseñados para satisfacer las necesidades educativas, físicas, de salud y sociales de la comunidad. El Centro beneficia a niños, familias, maestros, educadores en el hogar y personas mayores, y sus programas se adaptan a medida que evolucionan las necesidades. Es un lugar donde los miembros de la comunidad tienen acceso a todos los recursos que necesitan para vivir una vida más plena y sostenible.
Children’s Library
The Todos Together Children’s Library maintains a collection of more than 5000 books for children. Fiction and non-fiction titles are available in both English and Spanish. There is a wide selection for all ages, from babies through adolescents. Books can be checked out by members free-of-cost for two weeks.
La Biblioteca Infantil de Todos Together cuenta con una colección de 3000 libros para niños. Hay títulos de ficción y no ficción disponibles en inglés y español. Hay una amplia selección para todas las edades, desde bebés hasta adolescentes. Los miembros pueden tomar libros prestados gratuitamente por dos semanas.
Community Garden
Visitors come to the Todos Together Community Garden to connect to nature, to each other, and to the greater good. Visitors are able to take part in all phases of the gardening process, helping to design, build, plant, tend, and harvest as they learn where food comes from and how to grow their own. As an extension of the Todos Together Community Garden, we provide plants, seeds, and coaching for other gardens in the community including at schools and homes.
La gente visita al Jardín Comunitario Todos Together para conectar con la naturaleza, con los demás y con el bien común. Los visitantes pueden participar en todas las fases del proceso de jardinería, ayudando a diseñar, construir, plantar, cuidar y cosechar, mientras aprenden de dónde provienen los alimentos y cómo cultivarlos ellos mismos. Resource Lending Library
The Todos Together Resource Lending Library maintains an inventory of curricula, educational materials, toys, tools, and activities that can be borrowed by members of the community. It is a priceless resource for teachers, homeschool parents, tutors, and others who want to improve the quality of their practice and create more meaningful and engaging interactions with children. The kits in the Resource Lending Library save time and money while giving everyone access to more.
La Biblioteca de Recursos de Todos Together mantiene un inventario de currículos, materiales educativos, juguetes, herramientas y actividades que los miembros de la comunidad pueden tomar prestados. Es un recurso invaluable para maestros, padres que educan en casa, tutores y otras personas que desean mejorar la calidad de su práctica y crear interacciones más significativas y atractivas con los niños. Gear Swap
Children quickly outgrow their clothes, shoes, toys, and other gear items, resulting in gently used items that can and should be passed on to others. At the Gear Swap, members can get rid of the items that no longer fit or are no longer needed and exchange them for the right size or level. We accept items for pregnant mothers, babies, and children that are in good condition and make them available to others who need them.
Los niños crecen rápidamente y dejan de usar su ropa, zapatos, juguetes y demás artículos, lo que resulta en objetos usados en buen estado que pueden y deben ser donados a otros.
